Self-hosted by design
Your operational records remain on nodes you control. The developer-operated relay stores encrypted notification-routing data and delivery state required for Apple notifications, but does not receive plaintext message content.

Vonode depends on hardware, carrier, network and Apple services. It must not be relied on for emergency or life-safety communication.
Transparent review access
Apple reviewers can use an isolated synthetic environment that demonstrates the product without contacting real people, carriers or hardware.
